Glass gilding
We made this video for the very talented glass gilding artist David A. Smith (davidadriansmith.com). We translated David's original 2D design into a moving 3D piece for him to use as promotion for his coming online workshop. We wanted to highlight the exquisite details and the feel of the materials, that is such an important part of the craft. The glass, wood and gold are playing the main role.
